I agree with what’s said…there’s something that makes me smirk about the idea of a woman using her “feminine wiles” as a way of operating, guided by her brain. It’s not (as I first worried) that the feminine side is being used to hide the brainy side. It’s that both “sides” are one, working to achieve her aims.

Couldn’t agree more with this. I think people lose sight of portraying people as people, sometimes, and get caught up in the gender thing. It’s not difficult to do, for any gender, but we get trapped in these patterns of behaviour if we’re not careful, on and off the page!
